Help support Free Parenting Classes in Josephine & Jackson Counties while playing bunco and rolling to win! The Grants Pass Chamber Ambassadors will be helping us hold a Bunco Night as part of our Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month. Proceeds from the event will go to support free parenting education and leadership coaching in Southern Oregon. Both of these programs help build protective factors into our local families, which in turn helps lower their risk of falling into cycles that can lead to hurt and abuse.
The cost to join is $20 and will include three rounds of bunco, snacks, prizes, and lots of fun and fellowship!
-During the Tournament there will be opportunities to donate and help support Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness month.
-Other competitive games will be arranged during the night.
-Swag bags will also be available.
- Play will take place at the Fruitdale grange in Grants Pass.
By purchasing tickets for bunco night and with any donations given, you are partnering with Legacy Family & Leadership in our mission to support Southern Oregon Families. We desire to normalize parenting education to reduce social isolation, increase peer support for families, and break generational hurts, habits, and cycles that lead to abuse and neglect. We want to stand in the gap with families, empowering them to break cycles that lead to hurt and start a new legacy for their children.
Wear blue, and wave blue pinwheels. Why Blue Pinwheels?
Prevent Child Abuse America launched the national Pinwheels for Prevention campaign in 2008 during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. To date, over 5 million pinwheels have "bloomed". The symbol, a blue and silver pinwheel, is meant to spread a message of resilience, engage communities, and inspire action across Oregon.
We are very excited to have you join us on April 29th for Bucno Night. You should definitely invite a friend, or two...
