Pinwheel Gardens
How it Works:
Help support Free Parenting Classes in Josephine & Jackson Counties while having a little bit of blue pinwheel fun! Make an online donation and send a garden of blue pinwheels to your friends, family members, or neighbors' front yard! The recipient will then have the opportunity to bloom a garden (by donating and choosing the next lawn). The recipient is not required to donate, the garden will be moved to the next scheduled house after 2 days regardless of the donation. Gardens will start blooming on April 3rd, get yours reserved!!!
Why Blue Pinwheels?
Prevent Child Abuse America launched the national Pinwheels for Prevention campaign in 2008 during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. To date, over 5 million pinwheels have "bloomed". The symbol, a blue and silver pinwheel, is meant to spread a message of resilience, engage communities, and inspire action across Oregon.
By donating you are partnering with Legacy Family & Leadership in our mission to support Southern Oregon Families. We desire to normalize parenting education to reduce social isolation, increasing peer support for families, and breaking generational hurts, habits, and cycles that lead to abuse and neglect. We want to stand in the gap with families, empowering them to break cycles that lead to hurt and start a new legacy for their children.
