Nurturing Parenting

A complete and well-rounded 12-session parenting class. This evidence-based curriculum covers a variety of topics ranging from bonding, healthy emotions, and parental self-care to positive discipline and family rules.
Parenting ABCs
Varies
A condensed 7 Session Nurturing Parenting curriculum focusing on early childhood development and how to positively interact with a school-aged, developing child.
Grandparents as Parents
Varies
This 8 session curriculum is specific to grandparent/caregiver relatives that are guardians of children or teens. Topics include information about child development of all ages and stages, discipline and guidance, caring for yourself as a caregiver/guardian, rebuilding a family, living with teens, legal issues, and advocacy.
Parenting Teens and Preteens

This 12 session series has been designed to offer support to families as they navigate parenting pre-teens and teens. Topics include stress management, positive parenting, expectations and family rules, teen brain development, and more. The goal is to develop a foundation of understanding and cooperation that will carry families through challenging times.
Nurturing Fathers

A 13 session support class specific to males with a trauma-informed, therapeutic curriculum that helps heal “father-shaped holes;” promotes healing through knowledge and self-care so participants can be positive male role models for children. For fathers of children aged 0-10.
Leadership 101
Varies
This 8 session cohort focuses on preparing people to see themselves as leaders. Topics will include: what is healthy leadership, are you built to lead, leadership styles, leading oneself, and more. Commitment to the cohort includes homework and reading assignments.
Thriving Marriages

We offer three levels of marriage group classes: (each is 8 sessions)

Positive Youth Development

This workshop is perfect for parents of preteens and teens. We will cover brain development, developmental stages, and the seven ingredients for positive youth development. Parents will remember what it was like to be a teen, work as a team with other parents, and participate in a fun and active object lesson.

Leadership Lunch Talks
$20
Monthly Leadership lunches offer great opportunity for personal growth, networking, problem-solving, and team building. Monthly topics vary. Lunches hosted by ATW are priced at $20 per person and include lunch. Lunches may also be hosted by a group, please contact LFL for details and prices.
Communication

This workshop can customized for parenting, marriage or business. Learn to use non-violent communication, active listening, communication styles, body language when and where to have difficult conversations, and the importance of empathy in communication.

What makes our family special?
Varies
This workshop is great for parents or families to take together. We will explore through art projects, team exercises and family discussion. Families will leave with a Family Mission Statement, Family Crest, and Family Rules. Extended length workshops may include: Family meetings, Chores & Responsibilities, and Family play/Family Game Night. Children participating in class must be age 5+

Positive Discipline

In this workshop we will explore the difference between punishment for a child's negative behaviors and positive discipline. Offering parents a range of tools to help them guide their kids while encouraging positive behaviors. This class can be customized to fit parents of younger children or parents of preteens and teens.

Online Groups, Classes, Coaching & Cohorts
Many of our classes are adaptable to an online format, virtual meetings and private groups can broaden your reach while keeping costs down.
Parenting Classes

We currently offer seven different parenting curriculums and have had great success in offering these classes in an online format. Classes can be run once a week, twice a week, or can be tweaked to fit online conferences/workshops. Prices vary based on curriculum choice and the number of sessions.
Leadership Coaching

Personalized leadership coaching. We offer this service one on one or as a leadership group/team from the same organization. The commitment to coaching includes completing homework, reading assignments any assigned projects. Prices vary based on number of individuals in a cohort, length of contract, and the number/frequency of sessions.
Marriage Counseling
Varies
Frank and Teresa have been married for over 25 years and have served in the ministry together for 21+ years. One of their favorite ways to serve together is in marriage counseling. Premarital counseling can be arranged either in-person or online. Married couples who are looking for counseling/peer support will be considered based on availability and the type of counseling needed.
